It’s time to create for everyone
a new virus, called ”Giveit21”,
for which scientists have no solution,
for this happiness revolution.
No vaccine can be activated
immunization can’t be created.
A virus of extreme generosity
instead of the covid monstrosity.
A pandemic of kindness
an epidemic to let you bless,
those you meet each day,
with a cheerfulness buffet.
Forget about herd immunity,
super spread to the community,
no more screening, no more quarantine,
“Giveit 21”, scientists have never seen.
Masks no longer needed
smiles, laughing, unimpeded.
For this virus needs no cure,
so this new normal will endure.
Spread the Giveit21,
and give it to everyone,
make it super contagious
let’s all get outrageous!
Give charity away,
at least one gift every day,
touch everyone you see,
fill everyone with glee.
For life’s far too short
to be locked away in fear,
if you spread the giveit21 virus
this nightmare will disappear.
So is everyone in the Christmas spirit? Doesn’t seem likely.
The new omicron variant which has just been announced as coming from South Africa and spreading fast has created panic again, mostly fuelled by the media and our politicians, yet it appears that according to Global News, reports from South Africa are suggesting that hospitalization rates have not increased significantly.
Dr. Fauci in the USA says “Thus far, it does not look like there is a great deal of severity to it.”
The poor restaurants. Already having had a nightmare year, they were looking forward to hosting some big office parties, a major part of their business, however, most companies have abandoned the idea due to the fear of catching Covid again by way of the omicron variant.
So what is the answer?
How about creating our own pandemic. A pandemic of good wishes, gifts, and charity to our fellow human beings. We could call it “Giveit21”.
No need for vaccines.
Herd immunity will not work as it will spread contagiously with everyone affected.
The spreading of love will penetrate our masks and the closer you get to the recipient the better. No need for social distancing.
An outbreak of kindness, an epidemic of generosity to all. Community spread encouraged.No quarantining once affected by Giveit21. The more catch this virus the better. Every month get the booster and boost everyone you come across. Make it a worldwide phenomenon. Be a super spreader!
This should be the new normal. One that there is no antidote for.
